John Ramirez is an Austin, Texas–based solo artist whose music bridges the worlds of heavy metal, hard rock, and raw, acoustic intimacy. Known for his emotional honesty, powerful performances, and genre-blending sound, Ramirez has built a growing reputation in the Texas music scene as both a passionate songwriter and a magnetic live performer.

Ramirez first made his mark with his debut album, Prayers to Saint Jude, a deeply personal collection of songs that showcased his gift for storytelling and emotional depth. The record explored themes of struggle, faith, and perseverance, setting the tone for the musical identity he continues to refine.

In recent years, Ramirez has expanded his sound and collaborations. His latest singles — “The Dead”, a haunting duet with Allison Day, and “La Llorona”, a reimagined take on the traditional Mexican legend — are streaming across all major platforms, earning him praise for his versatility and heartfelt performances.

Currently, John can be found performing across Austin with local talents such as Andrew Nixon, D Bock, and Kevin Carney. Whether fronting a high-energy rock set or delivering an intimate acoustic session, he connects deeply with audiences, turning every show into a shared experience of emotion and storytelling.

Ramirez is now working on his next studio album, Ghosts and Angels — a record centered on love, loss, and redemption. Blending his hard rock roots with moments of delicate reflection, the album promises to be his most personal and dynamic work yet.

For John Ramirez, music is not just creation — it’s communion. He thrives on the live experience, meeting fans face-to-face, and sharing stories through his songs. In his own words, “The best part of making music is getting to feel it with people — to know it means something to them, too.”
