Bio
John Ramirez developed an eclectic love of many genres while growing up in the country. His sound has moments of blues, strains of Spanish influence, and energetic rock. When John was a teen, his first guitar opened a new world to him; Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Phil Keaggy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson... He branched out to piano and drums and quickly found nirvana in creating his own music. Having completed his first album, Prayers to Saint Jude, which has haunting melodies of lost hope, inspiring lifts of overcoming the rough, and others of gladly enjoying what the world offers, those dreams are being realized. John now lives in Austin and is presently working on material for his second album.
